EXOS @ Raleigh Orthopaedic History
EXOS @ Raleigh Orthopaedics, formerly Athletes' Performance (AP), was established as a division of Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic in January 2005. Beginning with a small physical therapy department and one sports physical therapist focused on meeting the needs of the athletic population, it rapidly expanded. In October 2005, EXOS Raleigh expanded into a 20,000 square foot state of the art training facility, and 2 speed and performance specialists were added to the staff. EXOS Raleigh quickly became known as the facility committed to meeting the unique and specific needs of athletes.
Over the years, EXOS Raleigh continued to expand their offering of expert services. In 2006, Licensed Athletic Trainers and a Licensed Sports Massage Therapist joined the APC. A certified performance pilates instructor was added in 2007. In 2008, a sports chiropractor and Olympic Weightlifting Specialist joined our growing team.
In 2010 EXOS @ Raleigh Orthopaedic opened a second location in Cary, NC.
In November of 2012, Raleigh Orthopaedic entered into a partnership with Athletes' Performance, the global experts in performance training, nutrition and physical therapy services. Athletes’ Performance has supported 6 #1 NFL draft picks, including the top 4 picks in the 2012 Draft, Major League Baseball MVPs, Olympic Gold medalists, World Cup soccer teams, and top collegiate and high school athletes.
The two EXOS @ Raleigh Orthopaedic locations in Raleigh and Cary, formerly known as the Athletes' Performance (AP), integrated EXOS training and nutrition services to offer new programs for professional and elite athletes, as well as college, high school and youth athletes, and adults looking to be active and improve their own health and fitness.
EXOS @ Raleigh Orthopaedic facilities in Raleigh and Cary consist of leading training equipment from Keiser, Woodway, and SKLZ, and feature an indoor turf training area at each location.
Our EXOS team along with the Raleigh Orthopaedic Clinic physicians, provide all the resources needed to advance every phase of the athlete's development.
Today, EXOS @ Raleigh Orthopaedic offers a full range of services that include Sports Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, Sports Performance Training, Massage Therapy, and Pilates.
