Athletes' Performance (AP) has firmly established itself as the world leader in providing integrated performance training services to youth through elite athletes. We are seeking dynamic individuals that bring exceptional skills and abilities to our team, and have a passion for providing outstanding service to our elite clientele.
APNC offers a "hands-on" internship experience for undergraduate and graduate students in any of the physical therapy and exercise/athletic training related fields:
· exercise sciences: kinesiology, biomechanics, exercise physiology
· strength & conditioning
· athletic training
· physical therapy
Successful candidates gain valuable coaching experience, exposure to advanced training theory, methodology and application, all while working with many different levels and ages of athletes. Students learn a comprehensive approach on how to systematically integrate each aspect of performance enhancement training: speed, strength, power, stamina, agility, regeneration, injury prevention and rehabilitation.
You will have the added benefit of working with an organization that is solely dedicated to its athletes.
APNC is searching for potential candidates who are highly motivated, dependable, possess a strong work ethic, maintain a professional presentation at all times, own excellent communication skills and remain open to feedback in order to ensure a beneficial internship experience. Client interaction is a vital aspect of our programming and experience in strength (Olympic Lifting variations), speed, biomechanics, flexibility, conditioning, nutrition or a related discipline is highly recommended. Computer literacy with fluency in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as experience with HTML and JAVA, also a strong plus.

*It is expected that interns will remain for the entire duration of their scheduled internship. Each internship lasts approximately 12-14 weeks depending upon the semester. Housing, stipends, and meals are not included in the internship at the present time.
